Standing On The Promises of God

There are THOUSANDS of Promises God has made to us, His children, written in The Bible, His Holy, Inspired Word: In fact, I have a book, “The Bible Promise Book,”  which contains 1,000. The focus of This week’s Living for The Lord: Doomsday Disciple Group Bible Study, was Standing On The Promises of God: Although I did not include 1,000 or more of God’s promises in this week’s Bible study, we did take a look at many of the Scriptures indicating just SOME of God’s many promises He has established with His Children.

We spoke briefly last week, on Isaiah 43:25-26 which states, “25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. 26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.” with regards to praying powerful & effective prayers, so with this in mind, and these promises too, we can use these as tools, in our prayer life, to lay our claim on the promises the Father has made to us.

Psa 91:14-15 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Psa 50:15  And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Eze 36:26-27  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.(27) And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Joh 8:36  If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Isa 41:10-11  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.(11)  Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
Isa 54:10-11  For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.(11) O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
Lam 3:22-24  It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.(23)  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.(24)  The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
2Co 1:3-5  Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;(4)Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.(5) For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
